Barixa Barixa is an organisation comprising of Kawa Huni Kuin, Veronica Castro and Maya Medvesek. Their mission is to spread Huni Kuin wisdom around the world through song and film. Veronica Castro is a film maker who created the award winning documentary Yupuma, a film that presents the cosmo-vision and life of the Huni Kuin in the Nova Fortaleza Village, Acre, Brazil. Kawa Huni Kuin co created the movie and helped to translate the Hantxa Kuin Language to Portuguese and English. Kawa is one of the, if not the only English speaking Huni Kuin. These people are dedicated to the delivery of the Huni Kuin philosophies and travel to many places around the world. EarthWzrdry assists them in Britain and around Europe with spreading their wisdom and playing Djembe for Kawas Concerts.
